How it works

Four steps. You’re never left guessing.

  1. Deposit

    You pay 50% by card through a secure link, which takes about a minute. The final price is agreed before this, and it doesn’t move afterwards.

  2. You send your content

    Photos, prices, hours, the services you offer and the areas you cover. Send what you have. I write the words for every section from it.

  3. I build it

    Five business days from when your deposit and your content have both arrived. You get two rounds of changes; send your notes as one batch each time. The site stays on a private preview link until the final payment clears.

  4. It goes live

    You pay the other 50% and the site goes live on your own domain. You bought that domain, on your card, in your name.

Most businesses need one strong page, and that’s where we start. If you need more, it runs to about five pages, and we agree the price before anything begins. No Dutch VAT is charged to businesses outside the EU.

After it’s live

Once the site is live the project is complete and nothing further is owed. Sites do need the occasional update, so there are two ways to handle it. Both are optional.

I’m Fibikemi Fabiyi, and Bodega is one person. Me.

I studied communication and multimedia design, so building isn’t the new part. Doing it under my own name is.

I spend my working life on the phone with business owners, and one thing kept coming up. Most of them are better than their website makes them look. A plumber with two hundred five-star reviews and a site from 2014 loses jobs to someone half as good with a newer page. That gap is why Bodega exists.

So before I call anyone, I go and look properly. Their reviews, their competitors, what a customer actually sees on a phone at nine at night. By the time we speak I usually know something about their site that they don’t.

I won’t pretend to have a wall of client logos. I’m early. What you get instead is someone who looked before he called, does the work himself, and hands you everything in your own name when it’s done.

Terms, privacy and refunds

Terms of service

These terms apply to website work provided by Bodega, a business established in the Netherlands (KvK 92126111).

  • Price. The scope and final price of each project are agreed in writing before work begins, and don’t change afterwards.
  • Payment. 50% to start and 50% when the site is ready to go live, by card through a secure Stripe link. The site stays on a private preview link until the final payment clears.
  • Timing. Five business days from when both the deposit and your content have arrived. If content arrives later, the date moves by the same amount, with no penalty either way.
  • Changes. Two rounds of changes are included. Further rounds are quoted before any work starts.
  • Your content. You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you provide and for holding the rights to any text, images or other material you supply.
  • Ownership. The domain and hosting are bought and held in your name. The code is kept in a repository you can be given at any time.
  • Care plan. $45 per month for up to three small changes a month, uptime monitoring and link checks. It is optional and can be cancelled at any time by email. Pay as you go is $95 per hour, half-hour minimum, quoted before work starts.
  • Liability. Bodega is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website.
  • Law. These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands.
Privacy

Bodega collects only the information you choose to send when you get in touch — typically your name, email address and details about your project.

  • It is used only to answer your enquiry and to carry out work you ask for.
  • It is not sold. It is shared only with the service providers needed to deliver the work — for example website hosting and payment processing through Stripe — and where the law requires it.
  • This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or third-party trackers.
  • To ask what information is held about you, or to have it deleted, email contact@bodegaworks.com.
Refunds

Refunds follow the stage the work has reached.

  • Before work begins, your deposit is refunded in full.
  • Once building has started, the deposit covers work completed and isn’t refunded. Anything built to that point is yours to keep.
  • Once the site is live, the project is complete and nothing further is owed.
  • Care plan. You can cancel at any time.
  • To request a refund or cancel, email contact@bodegaworks.com.
